OPTOS RETINAL IMAGING
At EYE PEOPLE, part of our commitment to provide the best care to our patients with the latest technology. We provide a new tool to produce a comprehensive image of your retina for our doctors to perform a thorough retinal evaluation without the use of eye drops or unwanted side effects. This can better prevent and diagnose disease in a simple, quick and patient-friendly method.

There aren’t any pain receptors inside the eye so many patients are unaware of any vision-threatening conditions such as retinal tears, retinal detachments, bleeding, strokes, etc. in the eye. The field of view of the retina without the Optos retinal imaging or dilation is narrow and many of these conditions cannot be detected without it.

CORNEAL TOPOGRAPHY
We are committed to protecting your eye health with the most advanced state-of-the art technology available. The Topcon KR800 utilizes wavefront technology that lets our doctors have a more in depth view into your eye health where signs of disease first appear. It scans your eyes providing a topographical map of your cornea, measures your prescription and provides detailed information on higher order aberrations in the eye. Traditional eye exams do not provide this level of detail. It is fast, easy, and comfortable for patients of all ages and gives your doctor valuable information about the health of your eyes.

This incorporates a patient’s gaze dynamics into their diagnosis creating a fully personalized
progressive lens with optimal acuity. Gaze dynamics is determined by the relationship between the eye and head movements that we naturally make when looking at objects in the environment.
