There aren’t any pain receptors inside the eye so many patients are unaware of any vision-threatening conditions such as retinal tears, retinal detachments, bleeding, strokes, etc. in the eye. The field of view of the retina without the Optos retinal imaging or dilation is narrow and many of these conditions cannot be detected without it.

VIEW WITHOUT OPTOS
The field of view of the retina without the Optos retinal imaging or dilation is narrow and many of these conditions cannot be detected without it. With the Optos, 82% of the retina can be viewed with a quick, simple photo.
