Dr. Katie Kimpau is a therapeutic and glaucoma certified optometrist. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry at California State University of Long Beach and was listed on the President’s Honor List of 2020. Dr. Kimpau earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Marshall B. Ketchum University, formerly known as Southern California College of Optometry, in 2026.

Her clinical training involved an externship at University Eye Center of Los Angeles (UECLA), where she focused on training in specialty contact lenses. Other externships included training in primary care, pediatric care, geriatric care, co-management in refractive/cataract surgeries, dry eye management, acquired brain injury exams, and vision therapy. Her externships allowed for her to experience a wide diverse range of patients and eye conditions, from the underserved population at UECLA to the Marine corpsman at Camp Pendleton Naval Hospital. She is committed to providing exceptional care and delivering the best management for her patients.

Dr. Kimpau was born and raised in Orange County and loves Southern California for its diverse culture and proximity to beaches. She is a novice foodie that indulges in matcha lattes and loves to spend time with her friends and family.
